Workshop Terms and ConditionsPlease read this page carefully before proceeding with your booking. These terms are legally binding and non-negotiable.
We amend these terms from time to time so please check at time of booking. These current terms were updated on the 1st of October 2018.
Contacting UsYou can contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via the 'contact us' page on the website. Our telephone number is 07585 449389. If we have to contact you, we will do so by email to the address that you have provided us.
BookingsWe prefer bookings for all courses to be made through our website. Should you have any issues with booking, you can call us on 07585 449389. We will not be able to answer the phone whilst teaching but we will endevour to get back to you as soon as possible. We cannot be held responsible for any workshops that may sell out whilst you're waiting for us to return your call.
Upon a successful booking, you will be sent a confirmation email. Do not delete this email as it contains your means to cancel or reschedual your booked workshop if you so choose.
PaymentFull payment for all classes, workshops and private lessons is required at time of booking to secure your space. We will confirm our acceptance to you by sending you an email that a workshop has been booked. The contract between us will only have been formed when we send you this confirmation.
We accept the following cards; Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Maestro as well as payment via PayPal.
Cancellation/Termination PolicyCancellation or rescheduling of a workshop must be performed via the link provided in the confirmation email received upon a successful booking.
We will offer a full refund or direct transfer to another workshop if notice of cancellation is recieved at least 14 days in advance of the reserved workshop. This is because of the nature of the workshops and the limited amount of places available. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. You may send someone else in your place if you wish. Please let us have their contact details (name, address, email address and telephone number) in advance so that arrangements can be made and confirmation details can be passed on.
In exceptional circumstances we may have to cancel a workshop. If that happens, we will give you as much notice as possible. We will try to accomodate you on a different date or give you a full refund, whichever you prefer. We do not accept liability for travel or other costs.
Using Your Own EquipmentIf you plan to use your own sewing machine or other equipment, please ensure it is fully operational before the class and that you're in possession of the instruction manual. Refunds are not available if a class has to cancel or you are unable to take part due to non-operational equipment that you have supplied.
AttendanceWe endeavour to always begin workshops at their stated start times and finish at their stated end times. Students are expected to arrive no longer than 15 minutes before the stated start time. We cannot allow workshops to run on beyond these times and it is the customers reponsibility to arrive in a timely manner. We will not turn away latecomers, but please be aware that that they will have missed the earlier portion of the workshop and will end up having less time than everyone else.
Only registered students and staff are permitted to remain within the premises during active workshops.
Members of the sewing community are a very supportive group of individuals, however aggressive behaviour during a workshop will not be tolerated. Any student that treats company equipment/premises violently or is otherwise vulgar, violent or disrespectful towards other attendees or staff will be required to leave the premises, forfeiting the remainder of their workshop booking.
Wilful damage to any property belonging to Made on Anglesey will be charged for.
