Tegfan Top & Tegfan Jacket Workshop

10:00AM - 4:30PM

In order to attend this workshop, you should be familiar with how to use a sewing machine. If you have never used a sewing machine before, then please enrol on our 'learn how to use a sewing machine' course first.

The day will involve making the Tegfan Top and/or Tegfan Jacket by Made on Anglesey patterns. This kimono style top is a relaxed shape through the body. With 3 different length versions to choose from, it will take you through all seasons and a range of fabrics. With different neck finishes including binding and facings, you will experience different techniques to get the right finish for you. A great pattern to use beautiful pieces of fabrics to complete the patchwork element. This pattern covers sizes from xs to xxl. More information regarding sizing can be found here. There will be plenty of help and guidance available every step of the way.

What's included

All equipment, patterns and notions are included, you will just need to bring your own fabric and a packed lunch. Suitable fabrics; light to medium weight cotton, poplin, soft linen or light weight wool. The pattern works best with fabrics that have a good drape. Once you have booked a place on this workshop, we will email a pattern to you with details regarding how much fabric you need to bring (this varies according to body size). There is no need to bring the pattern with you on the day as we will ensure that there is a printed pattern ready for you. There will be plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits to keep you going.
