Sew a Helena Top

10:00AM - 4:30PM

In order to attend this workshop, you should be familiar with how to use a sewing machine. If you have never used a sewing machine before, then please enrol on our 'learn how to use a sewing machine' course first.

The day will involve making the Helena top by Sew Me Something patterns. This casual easy fitting dress has a neckband and pin tucked detail at the front and a double yolk and gathers at the back to allow for adaptations. The set in sleeves give two different versions; one with short sleeves, the other with longer sleeves rolled back and fastened with a placket and button. This pattern covers sizes from 8 to 22. More infomation regarding this pattern can be found here. There will be plenty of help and guidance available every step of the way.
